July, 2003 was released Misfits Project 1950 CD with bonus DVD. Misfits Project 1950 is showcasing punk covers of 1950's era classics. It features line-up of singer-bassist Jerry Only, drummer Marky Ramone and bassist Dez Cadena.
Release includes special guest vocals by Ronnie Spector on two tracks (This Magic Moment and You Belong to Me) and keyboards by Jimmy Destri of Blondie on two tracks (Runaway and Great Balls of Fire).
Ex-Misfits manager and Osaka Popstars singer John Cafiero sing backing vocals to Dream Lover, Monster Mash and Runaway.
Ed Manion provides saxophone for Diana and Runaway. This includes a 24 page booklet and free Bonus DVD (10 songs with live performances shot in March 2003 etc.).

CD debuted on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart at #2 and next week it was at #24. On Billboard's Top Independent Albums Chart it was first at #5 and second week at #12.

Marky Ramone, Jerry Only and Dez Cadena did two signing sessions.
1) Monday, August 18th at Virgin Megastore located at 1540 Broadway, Times Square in NYC from 6 - 8 PM. Misfits and Balzac also performed a live set.
2) Thursday, August 21st at FYE Trumbull Park located at 5065 Main St Ste 178, Trumbull, Connecticut. From 4 - 6 PM.
