Me First And The Gimme Gimmes is pretty legendary band founded in 1995. CJ Ramone played as a bassist first shows with the Me First And The Gimme Gimmes in 2018-2019.
Their live album Blow it ... At Madison's Quinceanera! is the first record featuring CJ Ramone as a Me First And The Gimme Gimmes member. Btw, band changed it's name to Spike And The Gimme Gimmes in 2025. Original vocalist Spike Slawson will continue to be the lead singer while co-founder Fat Mike will not be touring. Fat Mike have not toured with band for years.

CHANGE OF THE NAME:
As I wrote band changed it's name to Spike And The Gimme Gimmes in 2025. Original vocalist Spike Slawson will continue to be the lead singer while co-founder Fat Mike will not be touring. Fat Mike have not toured with band for years.
- I think it's a good move. It's wonderful to see the Gimme Gimmes as your band. And that's why the new name makes so much sense, Fat Mike said in an Instagram video.
Spike Slawson reassured fans that the group is "still the greatest cover band of all time" despite the name change. Me First And The Gimme Gimmes formed in 1995 as a cover band with a punk rock/pop-punk and comedy twist. The first MFGG album featured sped-up takes on 60's and 70's songs by Billy Joel, John Denver, Paul Simon and Neil Diamond, while later studio releases included covers of musicals, R&B, pop, country and more..
Spike Slawson said the group will continue to have a revolving cast of collaborators and band members, including CJ Ramone (The Ramones), Jake Kiley (Strung Out), John Reis (Rocket And The Crypt), Pinch (The Damned), Andrew McKeag (Presidents Of The United States of America and Stacey Dee (Bad Cop/Bad Cop). Other Gimmes have included Joey Cape (Lagwagon), Dave Raun (Lagwagon), Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters) and Fat Mike.
