There was a benefit party at New York Spirit Club in NYC, USA on Johnny's and CJ's birthday October 8th, 2004... Day would have been Johnny's 56th birthday. This was also one kind of Ramones 30th Party, even main event was in LA on September 12, 2004. Night was titled Be Well: Ramones Beat On Cancer.

Arturo Vega said of the show after Johnny Ramone passed away:
"It was Johnny's idea, and we were aware that Johnny was in risk of dying. I just wanted to make sure he wanted us to continue in the event of his death,"
"I asked him over and over if he wanted to continue planning, and said he didn't want to let down the fans and the people involved."

Jed performed during this night his beautiful song Bowery Electric.
