I had so great time in Toronto. I don't know what Randy and Shazz were
told of me for everyone, because they treated me so special way. Thanks
for everyone. Especially I was amazed by Gary Beynon. Like after short
meeting he wanted to take to the city. We visited together for example the
world's tallest building (553 meters/ 1,815 ft) CN Tower. Gary owns Hole
In The Wall bar and he's probably the most amazing and friendly bartender
you can meet! Also I can only say good things of his girlfriend Carissa
and
of many other people. Gary told me about a store next to Hole In The Wall,
Pandemonium,
owner
(Neil) of it was borrowed from Gary copy of my first book. Neil had in his
store Dee Dee's two early paintings!!! Another you can see in a photo.
Randy took some day off from his work and we got chance to hang out with
time also in a city. During one day I went with Randy and Shazz to
see Niagara Falls. It's so special experience.
2 days before I travelled back I saw with Shazz, Larry Retard and Patty a
show where Mike De Sadist of
Forgotten
Rebels played with
3 members of
Teenage Head. They played songs by New York Dolls, Johnny
Thunders and Ramones. Gordie Lewis, guitarist in Teenage Head, recognized
me and came to talk before the show. I knew him, like he wrote texts to
my both books + he plays on the Born To Lose
track on Dee Dee's Hop Around album + Teenage Head recorded the
album together with Marky Ramone and producer Daniel Rey in 2003. We
met now first time with Gordie. Show was enjoyable to follow, Mike
rocked hard way and Gordie
came to play many solos to the front of stage. But then Mike asked me to
stand up, he wanted to introduce me to the audience and he asked if I
wanna sing next Ramones songs. I said no because chance came so quickly.
We heard then Suzy Is A Headbanger, Loudmouth etc. I partied and pogoed
wild ways with Shazz. After the show I got chance to chat longer with Mike
and Gordie. Also Tim Welch knew me and came to talk, he's played with
Sylvain Sylvain of the New York Dolls + with Michael Monroe of Hanoi
Rocks. Next day I, Randy, Gary, Carissa etc. visited Esplanade Bier Markt
restaurang, there was in a list more than 300 different kind of beers! I
tasted for example KLB Raspberry Wheat beer and Kingfisher Premium Lager
from India etc. So many stories this picture-story report is still
missing, but I hope you enjoyed to read this. Thanks for everyone!
